Redwood Entertainment Company (REC) is a California based, multidisciplinary arts organization dedicated to producing professional work across theatre, film, live performance, and media.
Through these specialized creative divisions, REC’s mission is to create high quality arts and cultural experiences for the community, while also offering youth programs that provide meaningful access and opportunities in the arts.
FOUNDER
Carmen Maria Mitchell is a multidisciplinary artist and producer working across theatre, film, and music. She founded Redwood Entertainment Company with the goal of collaborating with fellow creatives, developing original work, and providing meaningful opportunities for both professional performers and young artists in the community.
BLACK BOX STUDIO
A versatile black box studio in the heart of Healdsburg, RTC Studio serves as the creative home of Redwood Theatre Company. Designed for both professional and community use, the space supports rehearsals, performances, film shoots, classes, and private events. Located just steps from the plaza, the studio offers a flexible environment for artists, collaborators, and organizations to bring their work to life.
